Overview

Knox Configure is a cloud-based service that empowers enterprises to customize and automate the enrollment of Samsung wearable devices purchased from authorized Samsung resellers. Knox Configure simplifies the out-of-box experience and enables a large range of configuration options.

Requirements

How it works

Using a web-based console, IT admins or System Integrators create profiles with the device settings, restrictions, apps, and other content that they want to deploy to groups of devices. After devices have been successfully enrolled into the enterprise, they will receive device profiles via Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Ensure your apps are compatible

Before you deploy apps, ensure that they are compatible with Knox Configure. You may need to contact app developers to complete these steps.

  1. Create a B2B seller account on the Galaxy App Store.
  2. Register the app on the Galaxy App Store.
  3. Request permission to use StubAPIs: StubAPIs allow Knox Configure to silently install apps on users' devices.
