Commercial license problem

Hello

Our company buy 20 liceses of "Knox Platform for Enterprise: PO, 1-Month, WW, Support Type-3 (L1+L2+L3 by Samsung)" but they not appear on our account. What we should do?

Hi Tomasz,

You need to register your license keys with your account on SEAP in order to see them in your license key summary. You can register your keys here.

I have one more question. If activated device will be broken (not power on) then how we can deactivate license to recover it? As I see it's only possible to by

licenseManager.deActivateLicense()

It's any webpage access to all activated devices to control them?

Hi Tomasz,

You can deactivate the license from the dashboard on samsungknox.com. We have a device deactivation tool that allows you to enter the license key and the IMEI of the devices you either wish to keep activated or wish to remove from the license key. We also have a feature called Automatic Seat Release, which will automatically deactivate a Knox license if the device has not contacted the server in 60 days.

Can you please point me where it is exactly? I see "Deactivate devices from a business license key." but it's for business license. When I click "knox configure" or "knox manage" i'm redirected to "https://eu01.manage.samsungknox.com/emm/admin/login.do" where I can't login even with temporary password sent by portal (forget password option)

Hi Tomasz,

The "Deactivate devices from a business license key" tool is where you deactivate your KPE from devices. When it refers to a "business license,' it really means KPE license. Unfortuantely, the wording is misleading. Enter your KPE key where it says "My Business License Key" in the deactivation tool to keep or remove devices from the license. Knox Configure and Knox Manage are different Knox products that require purchasing different license keys in order to use them.

Thanks! So I just enter license key and put imei or imeis in textbox and select remove, right?

What is for "keep" option then if let say 2 devices was activated? What it will do when I enter imei of activated device?

Hi Tomasz,

That is correct! The "keep" option allows you to remove all devices from the license key except the devices whose IMEIs you enter. This functionality is more useful if you do not know which devices no longer work, or you are seeing more devices activated on your license than you are aware of having. If you keep a list of company devices, for example, you can enter those IMEIs into the box, select "Keep," and remove any other devices from the keys.
